Careers in Aviation Announces Epps Aviation Scholarship

A $2,500 scholarship is designated for a potential or current student pursuing a career in aviation, who expresses a need for financial support to complete training or education.

"Careers in Aviation is very thankful to have the support from Pat Epps," said Judy Rice, President and CEO of Careers in Aviation. "Pat Epps has received international recognition for setting standards and paving the way for future air and space power. This is evident in his generous donation."

Epps Aviation:  In 1965, Pat Epps bought a small fixed-base operation at Dekalb-Peachtree Airport and began Epps Air Service.  Today, 44 years later, Epps Aviation is the largest FBO in the Atlanta Area with 185 employees located on 20 acres.  The Epps name is synonymous with flight in Georgia.  In 1907 Ben Epps, Pat Epps' father, built and flew the first airplane in Georgia.
